1. Distribution of 1,25,000 books to school children

MNGL supported the distribution of 1,25,000 Marathi copies of Anandamath to school children during the Pune Book Festival 2025. Undistributed copies will be provided to nearby Zilla Parishads and underprivileged schools.

2. Classroom benches for underprivileged girls colleges

Implementation partner: Nashik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (Education and Skill Development)

The project provided 675 classroom benches to two girls colleges in Nashik Road and Igatpuri, benefiting students from socio-economically weaker and tribal-region backgrounds.

3. Cyber Shiksha cyber-safety programme

Implementation partner: Yugaan Foundation (Education and Skill Development)

A one-year programme established a Cyber Assistance and Counselling Centre, trained 150 Cyber Guards, and conducted cyber-fraud awareness workshops across colleges and communities in Pune, reaching more than 3,000 students.

4. Remedial teaching and counselling for children

Implementation partner: Dhruv Foundation (Education and Skill Development)

Remedial teaching centres, aptitude testing, career counselling, mindfulness sessions and teacher-training workshops were conducted across four schools and one community centre in Hadapsar, Pune.

5. Annie Braille Smart Devices for visually impaired children

Implementation partner: YuvaSpark (Education and Skill Development)

Eighty-five Annie Braille Smart Devices were installed in six special schools across Nanded, along with local server infrastructure, teacher training and quarterly monitoring, benefiting more than 270 children.

6. Hearing assessment and rehabilitation infrastructure

Implementation partner: PADSAD Apang Upchar and Punarvasan Kendra (Healthcare)

MNGL supported digital hearing aids, audiological assessment equipment, speech trainers, interactive digital boards and Doctor Speech software for children with hearing impairment.

7. Customised artificial limbs for differently-abled persons

Implementation partner: Nav Bharat Vikas Foundation (Healthcare)

MNGL supported 1,250 additional modular artificial legs through the NGO walk-in centre and district-level camps across Pune, Dhule, Buldhana, Nashik, Nizamabad and Valsad.

8. Preventive healthcare and menstrual hygiene

Implementation partner: Desai Foundation (Women Empowerment)

The programme distributed 41,600 sanitary-pad packets to 5,200 women and adolescent girls across 52 villages and trained 104 community health facilitators.

9. Cervical-cancer awareness and HPV screening

Implementation partner: Jnana Prabodhini (Healthcare)

The programme targeted 1,000 women in rural Nashik, Sindhudurg and Dhule with awareness, HPV testing, clinical management and repeat testing.

10. Residential care and skill-building for adults with intellectual disabilities

Implementation partner: Navkshitij (Healthcare)

The Adopt to Empower programme provided year-round residential care, vocational training, therapies, inclusive activities, staff development and health insurance for 20 adults across three Pune centres.

11. Vision for Drivers eye-health programme

Implementation partner: Shivarudra Pratishthan (Healthcare)

Eye check-ups, colour-blindness detection and corrective spectacles were provided to 3,000 auto-rickshaw and public-bus drivers in Bibwewadi, Pune.

12. Udyamsetu 2.0 entrepreneurship programme

Implementation partner: Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha (Women Empowerment)

The programme scaled entrepreneurship training to 75 women through three batches, with business clinics, mentoring, market linkages, exhibitions and seed funding for 30 selected entrepreneurs.

13. Vocational training and entrepreneurship for marginalised women

Implementation partner: Purnkuti (Women Empowerment)

Project Dhara reached 210 beneficiaries, including transgender persons, HIV-affected women, single mothers and female sex workers, through vocational courses, counselling, entrepreneurship sessions and start-up kits.

14. Collection of low-value plastic under PEHEL

Implementation partner: Poornam EcoVision Foundation (Environment)

The initiative covers six cities and Sindhudurg, with outreach to residents and students, collection of low-value plastic, and conversion into overlaying sheets and police barricades.

15. Dondaicha natural resource development project

Implementation partner: Sevavardhini (Environment)

Ridge-to-valley soil and water conservation measures, including Cement Nala Bunds, are being implemented in Akkalkos and Surai villages of Dondaicha Tehsil, Dhule.

16. Borewell recharge solutions

Implementation partner: Third Planet Foundation (Environment)

Fifty borewell recharge units are being implemented in Dhule to improve groundwater recharge and support farming households and community water users.
